Founded in October 2025, Ruby Jones is an eco-conscious fashion brand that operates between New York City and the Hudson Valley. Focusing on ethically sourced, premium materials, the label creates collections that feel as natural on the body as they are kind to the planet. The drape, feel, and flow of the fabrics inspire each piece, and every material is planet-friendly—from a hardy Tuscan wool produced since the Middle Ages to textured cottons in flannel, twill, and waffle.
We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint at every step, utilizing only natural materials, repurposing production waste, and sourcing locally whenever possible. We offer a carefully designed selection of garments that can effortlessly be mixed and matched and produce just two collections per year. Timeless but not so classic, each piece is intended to withstand time and trend—to last a lifetime, be repaired and passed down, and eventually be returned to the earth.
About Ruby
Ruby Jones grew up in rural Massachusetts, where a childhood spent building, collecting, and imagining led her toward clothing design. She studied Fiber Science and Apparel Design at Cornell, then spent two years as a womenswear designer at Thom Browne in New York, honing her craft at the highest level of the industry.
As she evolved as a designer, Ruby became increasingly aware of the immense waste generated by fashion as a whole. That tension shaped the brand she'd go on to found: a label that prioritizes slow, thoughtful development over constant novelty, offering a considered wardrobe of pieces designed to last a lifetime—without sarificing personality.
